icon General

Project Pandanda is a non-profit recreation of the popular Red Panda MMO game where players can relive nostalgic moments, enjoy regular updates, join fun community events, and connect with fellow players! Project Pandanda is not affiliated with Sunleaf Studios.

You can play Project Pandanda using our downloadable client for Windows and Linux. For Mac users, we recommend a Flash-supported browser like Flash Browser. Mobile players can use Puffin Browser (subscription may be required) for Android and iOS. If you use a Flash-supported browser, we recommend using it exclusively for playing Project Pandanda or other Flash content. Please do not use it as your primary browser or enter any sensitive data while using it. Visit our Play page for more details.

Yes, Project Pandanda is free-to-play. Any additional in-game upgrades can be purchased with Pandanda coins (game currency) since Project Pandanda is non-profit.

The best way to support us is by playing the game, joining our community, and spreading the word! If you would like to donate, you can visit our Ko-Fi Donation Page. All donations go exclusively to server and maintenance costs. No staff members receive payment - we are all volunteers, and donators do not receive rewards in return. Thank you for supporting Project Pandanda!

Yes, we have a Discord server where players can chat, share in-game media, give feedback, and more!

Along with everything you love from the original game, we are constantly adding new and original content such as locations, items, quests, features, and more. In addition, events and seasonal festivals are routinely held.

The fastest way to stay updated about upcoming features and events is through our Discord server (be sure to claim the @Game News role!) and the in-game calendar. We also regularly share updates via our Newsletter.

There are several ways to earn coins in Project Pandanda. You can:
  • Complete quests to receive coin rewards
  • Play multiplayer games with friends, such as Bunny Chase, Ghosts of Misty Hill, Pen the Pig, and Line Four

  • Collect and sell items, such as fruit, mushrooms, onions, potatoes, and gems found throughout Pandanda Land
  • Go fishing and sell your catch to Joe at Fishing Hole or Mike at Coconut Beach (recommended by most players)

You can buy VIP from your User Panel for 45000 coins! Find the User Panel button next to your coins amount on your player card. VIP Pandas get awesome perks like:
  • Customize your Panda name color with glow effects
  • Change your chat bubble and text color
  • Access the VIP Catalog with exclusive clothes, furniture, dragons, and more
  • Save up to 10 outfits instead of just 5
  • Show off a VIP badge on your player card

You can find all these features in the User Panel. Find the User Panel button next to your coins amount on your player card.

You can store and wear your saved outfits by using these commands in the chat. You can save up to 5 outfits, but if you are a VIP Panda, you can save up to 10!
  • !outfit list - View all your saved outfits
  • !outfit add MyOutfit - Save your current outfit, where "MyOutfit" can be any name of your choice
  • !outfit wear MyOutfit - Wear your saved outfit
  • !outfit remove MyOutfit - Remove your saved outfit

You can mention another player in your message by tagging their name, like '@MyPanda', to make sure they see it or to message them when you're in different locations.

You can ignore or report a player by clicking on them and selecting "Ignore Player" or "Report Player," respectively. Ignoring a player will add them to your ignore list, and you will no longer see them in Project Pandanda. You should only report a player if you believe they have broken one of the Project Pandanda Rules. Reporting a player will send an alert to the Project Pandanda Team for investigation. For any further assistance, you can contact us in our Discord server by submitting a ticket.

Unfortunately, because Flash is no longer supported and has technical limitations, the game may experience lag on modern computers. Here are some ways to improve performance:
  • Shrink the game size by shrinking your client or browser window
  • Lower the Graphics Quality settings in the game's Options panel
  • Make sure no heavy applications are running on your computer

Pandanda Time is the time zone used in Project Pandanda, and is equivalent to real world Pacific Time.

We do not tolerate bad language and discussion of inappropriate topics. This includes extensive swearing, slurs, bullying and general disrespectful behavior towards other players. In addition it is not appropriate to discuss drug, alcohol, sex and racial topics. Players found not obeying this rule will be temporarily banned or muted and repeated offenses will result in permanent banning. Play it safe by never sharing your real name, address, phone number, email address, or passwords with anyone online. Players may not use third party programs or create any programs that enable cheating in Project Pandanda. Use of such programs will result in permanent banning.

icon Quests

Quests reset for all players every two days at 4:00 PM Pandanda Time. You can check when they reset next by hovering over the Q icon in the navigation bar above the game. This will show the reset time in your local time zone.

Completing quests earns you coins and Panda Power to help you level up. As you level up, you will unlock special items and benefits such as:
  • Exclusive rewards from Questy's Quest Rewards (clothes, companions, and more)
  • The Rainbow Pet Dragon at Izzy's Pet Shop
  • Once you reach Levels 50, 75, or 100, visit Trixie in Pawthorne Forest to summon your new dragon mounts for free
We are working on adding new level rewards and benefits, so keep questing to discover what's coming next!

Normally 11 or 12 quests are available each reset. During festivals or other in-game content you are able to complete additional special quests!

No, you can level up as high as you like! Happy Questing!

Make sure to read your quest's description carefully, as it usually contains all the clues you will need to complete it successfully. You can also ask other players who might know how to help, or join our quest discussion chat on our Discord server.

We are here to help! Please submit a ticket or bug report in our Discord server so we can investigate.
